Andy Wheeler is a writer, company director, and proud grandfather. In May 2025, at the age of 59, Andy survived a widowmaker heart attack and underwent triple bypass surgery at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

This book began as his personal journal during recovery. What started as a way to process trauma has become a resource for others facing the same path—a blend of raw honesty, practical advice, and hope.

When he isn’t writing, Andy is busy with his grandson, his work in children’s publishing, and his lifelong love of travel, cars, and music.

He lives in Cardiff, UK.
