I’ve always loved telling stories and creating imaginative worlds, a passion that began in my own childhood spent turning empty boxes, bottles, and cartons into boats and other inventions. Some of my fondest memories are of racing those homemade boats at the local stream, which became the inspiration for SeaMouse Builds a Boat – a story I wrote as a heartfelt celebration for my son.
Drawing on the joy and sense of possibility I’ve always associated with trips to the seaside, I wanted to craft an uplifting tale of resilience, creativity, and determination. Through my endearing character, Mouse, I hope to capture the spirit of dreaming big, working hard, and never giving up – lessons I wish to inspire in young readers everywhere.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy family life, seaside adventures, and dreaming up new stories to spark children’s imaginations.
