Julie Carlyle-Hoggan has always worked hands-on with people. She began in residential care for adults with learning difficulties, then later in day care. After some years at home with her children, she moved into early years and more recently primary education, often working closely with neurodiverse children or those with social and emotional challenges. Julie lives in Marlow with her husband and has two sons.

The Wingtip Elfins is Julie’s first book, which she hopes will encourage mindfulness, truth and compassion in children’s everyday lives.
